Review of Jagdish's Book
Economic Times, a publication of Times of India Group writes-
"RxPGonline, a website to guide post graduate medical students has become the most comprehensive resource globally for doctors and medical students who wish to study and work in countries like UK, US, NewZealand and Australia" -
RxPGonline reviews Jagdish's Book "A Comprehensive Review of Foreign Exams"
Review -
'The author's tone is not a very formal one and it touches you every now and then by the use of words like friends, folks and buddies. In one preparation tip the author writes " Give a big hug to your mom a night before the exam and promise her that you will do it" . This kind of writing may be considered insincere but the author makes the whole ride easy and the whole tribulation of standardized exams ; a fun filled affair '...... Read the full review

Foreword To Jagdish's Book

In life, words and deeds matter very much. In academia, words and deeds matter exclusively. American colleges and universities want to know that they are accepting and graduating the brightest, the most intelligent and the most articulate our society has to offer. I say "our society" because that term is undergoing a rapid re-conceptualization. As nation economies continue to integrate globally, businesses too, want to hire the best and brightest the workforce has to offer. In a global market, who is a member of your society not only means who is living in your immediate surroundings, but also this now includes those in your company peer networks as well as those in your personal Internet circles.
English has become, by and large, the medium of exchange in this era of globalization. Consequently, thousands of international students flock to English speaking countries every year in order to enhance their overall English abilities, to improve their educational opportunities, and, most importantly, to ensure a greater maximization of their economic potential. International students who worked hard to improve their English and obtained degrees at universities and colleges in the United States, Great Britain, Canada and Australia will tell you that they are not just "workers", but that they are valuable commodities. They are the movers and shakers, the translators and thinkers propelling their companies forward. Let's face it, employees proficient in English are more empowered and feel that they have a more confident leg to stand on. But to get to such a level, international students had to and still have to overcome many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. In America, international students might see the GRE, GMAT, TOEFL or IELTS exams as barriers to success. But in all reality, with the right kind of preparation, they are merely the first steps to success.
After reviewing an early draft of Mr. Jagdish Khubchandani's comprehensive book on foreign exams, I can heartily recommend students to get a copy. The content is much more substantial than its competitors in that it offers a wide array of information and advice normally not found in American texts. The advice ranges from such diverse and essential topics as how to get a VISA to how to begin thinking in English. It is my understanding that Mr. Khubchandani is the first Indian author to undertake such an academic endeavor. He is an Indian author who clearly understands the intricacies of his Indian audience. So, if you are planning to study overseas, the best thing you can do for yourself and your future is to be prepared. With Mr. Khubchandani's book and a firm commitment to studying, you will have the tools needed to ensure your success at an English speaking institution or university.

Preface of Jagdish's Book

Unfortunately, for most of them who plan to study abroad, the goal ends up in a pipe dream. In this context, I am pleased to write a book. This endeavor of mine will attempt to take exceptions to the views of students who find it extremely hard to pursue their dreams of earning a degree from a foreign university. It is an honest and sincere attempt to deal with the most common myths and notions regarding GRE/TOEFL/IELTS/GMAT. I would like to thank Mr. Pawaninder. P. Vij for providing me this opportunity to share some of the most elaborate reviews of foreign exams. Mr.Vij’s rationale for encouraging me has been his conviction; that a person who has attempted all these exams and cleared them with decent scores can write a more appropriate book .My journey which started from preparation of these exams is not yet complete. After getting a scholarship I feel I have climbed a few rungs in my quest for success. I hope after reading this book many more students reach this landmark and zoom ahead.
I would like to thank the entire publishing team for documenting my views in an absolutely flawless manner. I dedicate this effort to God Almighty, the silent listener to every conversation and the unseen guest at every meal. I would like to thank my father Dr.Nihal Khubchandani & my colleague Dr.Saumya Shankar Chowdhury for assisting me tirelessly and for being a constant source of strength. I would be pleased to share a word with anybody who has suggestions or a query regarding this book. As commonly said Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work ; so enjoy every phase of your preparation and have a great journey………….
Fondly,
Jagdish N.K.S
